Description
Green Bluff is the name of the headland at Moonee Beach and it features a remnant littoral rainforest, kangaroo grassland and a rich aboriginal history as the place where the land and the sea were made by two sisters, stone axes were made and meetings held because of plentiful food from the ocean and estuary.
Green Bluff Headland is a great place to take a stroll and check out the beautiful Solitary Islands from either the lookout or atop the grassy knoll. Enjoy a picnic, swim, paddle or fishing the inlet or the beach is not a bad choice if surfing is your preference. Don’t forget to bring your furry friend, as this is a dog friendly reserve.
