Description
Valla Headland consists of three rocky outcrops, backed by 20 m high bluffs, with a narrow 425 m long beach in between, the beach often cut into two sections. The beach receives some protection from the rocks particularly toward the southern sandy point and reef. It usually has a steep beach, with an attached bar, while under higher waves rips cut across the surf, particularly against the rocks. In addition rocks occur in the surf zone.
